Mr. Bercellini won the Berliner Philharmoniker Karajan Akademie audition for French Horn, therefore, played with this orchestra during this period with conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Sir Simon Rattle, and Bernard Haitink.

Prof. Andrés Bercellini
Andrés Bercellini was born in 1984 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studied French horn with professors Domingo Garreffa, Martcho Mavrov, Michael Höltzel and Stefan Dohr. At the age of 17, he was 3rd/1st horn at the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra. In Europe he was a member of the Schleswig Holstein Musik Festival and the Verbier Festival Orchestra. He won the Berliner Philharmoniker Karajan Akademie audition. During this period he played with BPO with conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Sir Simon Rattle, and Bernard Haitink. While living in Germany he also played as a guest with the DSO Deutsches Symphonie Orchester, RSBO Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin and Staatskapelle Berlin, as well as in several chamber projects.
Nowadays he lives in Argentina, where he received his professor's degree, and works passionately as a professor at the ESEAM “J.P.Esnaola” and “J.J.Castro” music conservatories. He also teaches at the Argentinian Youth National Orchestra, SODRE Youth National Orchestra in Montevideo, Uruguay, and works as a guest professor in several other countries. His students have won auditions in music conservatories such as Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart and Musikhochschule Lübeck among others, as well as principal horn positions in several orchestras in many countries. His teaching methodology focuses on developing a self‐teaching attitude through technical optimization and joy. He plays as guest with the Argentinian Music National Orchestra and with various chamber musicians of the highest level.
