Welcome to MusicTutorOnline. Founded in 2019 by master educator Robert Boer, our studio exists to prove that distance is no barrier to world-class music education. By pairing three and a half decades of refined classical piano and music theory instruction with a state-of-the-art, broadcast-quality digital studio, we provide ambitious students, international families, and passionate adults with an uncompromised framework for artistic growth.
Our History: A Lifetime at the Bench
MusicTutorOnline was not built overnight—it is the culmination of over 35 years of continuous teaching experience.
Having guided hundreds of students through every imaginable milestone—from a 7-year-old’s very first note to advanced diploma candidates clearing high-stakes conservatory auditions—Robert Boer developed a deep, intuitive understanding of how people learn music.
When remote learning became a global necessity, Robert recognized a massive gap in traditional online music lessons: poor audio compression, terrible camera angles, and chaotic physical setups were frustrating both teachers and students. Rather than settling for casual video calls, he set out to build a digital conservatory environment that would set a new international standard. Every camera angle, studio microphone, and software integration in our studio was hand-selected to create an immersive, interactive classroom that rivals—and frequently exceeds—the focus of an in-person session.
